The SNO laboratory was born out of a meeting between a textile treatment and care specialist, allergic to chemicals, and a father worried about his son, who was suffering from atopic dermatitis and had tried several eco-friendly detergents on the advice of his dermatologist without success.

A simple recipe based on soap, bicarbonate of soda and household vinegar made the boy’s suffering disappear forever. Now the whole family is doing it. Better still, the whole house and dishes are now cleaned using simple, healthy, biodegradable and much more economical recipes.

The SNO project was born!

Ecological household products on the market contain over 80% water, a natural, coveted and threatened resource! SNO is the first laboratory to provide optimal cleaning solutions. Whether it’s for laundry, the home or washing up, we supply the active ingredients and recipes for maximum results.

We do not use petrochemical raw materials and categorically refuse to use surfactants, GMOs, enzymes, optical brighteners or ethoxylated products. We make our soaps purely from organic olive oil. Soap is the cleaning agent that is closest to man and nature. It is rapidly 100% biodegradable. Soap is the only cleaning agent which, as soon as it has acted, binds with the limestone in the water. It thus loses its surface-active properties and becomes harmless to micro-organisms living in the water (primary degradation). This calcium soap is then completely transformed by micro-organisms into CO2 and H2O (secondary degradation). For SNO, sustainable development goes further than ecology. It’s not just about developing healthy, effective and economical products. SNO is also a pioneer in terms of the social structure of the company and its relationship with work: the meaning, the objective and the working conditions are those of a social and sustainable economy!
